Can you guess what we are doing???
Does a closer look help???
We made these last year too.
Here is the (almost) finished product
They still have to be attached to the heart doilies, but as far as I am concerned, the Valentine's are finished!! Phew! 68 crayon hearts ready to be delivered tomorrow. Assuming we have school. And I really never assume anything.

Adorable!!!

Your snow must be in a holding pattern over my house!
Love these crayon hearts - so clever and very cute!
They are gorgeous!! I have never done this. What do you do?
Those look great! You are so creative...
Ms. Henley, these are actually very easy to make! You go around your house and find any broken crayons (since we have done this for the past 3 years, we actually have to use somewhat new crayons, but we collect them from restaurants during the year!) Make sure the crayons are peeled. Break them into 1/2" to 3/4" pieces. Put about 5 pieces in each heart shaped mold (I use the silcone mini cupcake one - I got at Tarjay) and bake in a 200-250 degree oven until fully melted. Let cool, the release from mold. Tape to a red heart shaped doily, and voila! Valentine's done! :)
What a great idea!
